Acting Marketing & Customer Service Manager (Maternity Cover)

CONTRACT: Full-time, fixed-term contract, for initially 10 months starting from August 2014  

HOURS OF WORK: 35 hours per week

ANNUAL SALARY: £36,000 plus benefits

LAMDA has been fuelling the performing arts for over 150 years. As a world leader and pioneer, we offer exceptional vocational training to talented individuals, enabling them to become actors, stage managers, technicians, directors, musical directors and designers, regardless of their background or economic circumstances. Through our examinations, we offer a drama and communications-based syllabus, leading to accredited and non-accredited awards in the UK and worldwide. Almost 87,000 candidates took our examinations in over 30 countries last year.

We are currently seeking an accomplished Acting Marketing & Customer Service Manager to provide maternity leave cover of the current post-holder for initially 10 months.  This will be a varied and busy role working within examinations department.

This exciting opportunity would suit someone who is used to managing a fast paced Marketing & Customer Service team. You will have previous managerial/team management experience gained from marketing and/or PR sector background.  

You will have a proven track record of producing successful marketing, customer service and PR strategies. Working closely with the Head of Examinations, you will also have responsibility for international market and associated relationship building through innovative PR. Furthermore, your outstanding communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Finally, you will multi-task a number of assignments with an impeccable eye for detail.

We are looking for the new post-holder to start in mid-August to allow a handover with the current post-holder.
