In 2003, LAMDA launched its first ever International Alumni Network. With over 500 members in the UK, USA and beyond, this network is already proving an invaluable way for our American alumni to keep in touch. In addition to the Network, LAMDA provides various opportunities for alumni in the USA to meet and reconnect.
On Thursday 20th April 2006 there was the chance for past students to catch-up with old friends whilst getting the opportunity to see the best talents on Broadway, at an Exclusive Evening with Alan Bennett and The History Boys. On 25th April last year, the Academy was also thrilled to host a special In Conversation with Margot Harley and the Hon. Harriet Mayor Fulbright at the Helen Mills Theater in New York City, in celebration of LAMDA's 50 year relationship with the US.
Plans for 2008 and beyond will continue with this objective, with future aims to hold similar events on the West Coast. If you are a LAMDA alumnus/a living in the Los Angeles area, please do get in touch, so that we can make sure that you get an invitation!
