1912. Whilst economic hardship stalks the streets of industrial Britain, the wealthy Birling family are enjoying a quiet dinner party. The mysterious arrival of a police inspector shines a harsh spotlight on their comfortable lives, and throws open the door to a chilly world outside.
Originally premiered in Russia, and exploding onto the English stage in 1946, An Inspector Calls instantly won a place in the repertory of classic 'drawing room theatre'. A scathing critique of capitalism and middle-class hypocrisy, Priestley's seminal play lends an impassioned voice to his socialist principles and a human face to the collapse of pre-war British society.

Twelve years after a treacherous political coup, the corrupt perpetrators are caught in a violent sea storm. Washed ashore on an enchanted isle, their fates lie in the hands of the island's powerful magical ruler. The very same victim of their shameful past...
Regarded by some as the playwright's swansong drama, The Tempest continues to capture the imaginations of audiences, performers and scholars alike. Exploring the themes of justice, reconciliation and optimism, this classic achieved new heights of literary achievement and controversy on its release. A potent blend of tragedy, comedy and love, Shakespeare's play is as spellbinding as ever.

In 1943, to celebrate Hitler's birthday, all intermarried Jews in Berlin - mostly men - were arrested and interned at Rosen Street 2-4, before eventual transportation to the East. This music play tells the story of their German wives; what they did next in the face of insurmountable odds, their bravery, spirit and the sheer power of their love in what was to be the only public resistance to the Nazi party inside Germany during the war.
Matt Peover and Conor Mitchell have just returned from a successful run of Mitchell's children's opera The Musician, and are reunited at LAMDA after many previous premieres at the Academy. This script and score was developed with the help of the National Theatre Studio and the research of Nathan Stoltzfus.
