Misadventures ensue when Antipholus of Syracuse and his servant, Dromio of Syracuse arrive in the city of Ephesus - a place which, unknown to them, is home to their long-lost twin brothers; Antipholus and his servant, Dromio.
When a disgruntled wife and an over-friendly courtesan are added to the mix, the hapless brothers face a head-spinning cycle of mistaken identities, false accusations and unwanted attention. One of Shakespeare's most deft and exuberant comedies, The Comedy Of Errors has been lovingly revived throughout its history for stage, screen, opera and musical theatre.
"I to the world am like a drop of water
That in the ocean seeks another drop,
Who, falling there to find his fellow forth,
Unseen, inquisitive, confounds himself."
The Comedy Of Errors, Act 1, Scene 2.

A vivid portrayal of lust and ambition in a corrupt Italian court. Vindice, seeking vengeance for the murder of his fiancée, strives to bring down the Duke whom he holds responsible.
This glorious depiction of corrupt authority, murder and betrayal drags the audience along at breakneck speed until its final, breathtaking twist. Neglected for much of its history, but energetically revived in the 20th century by both the RSC and the National Theatre, The Revenger's Tragedy is a visceral tale of passion, love, and wrath.
"Thou sallow picture of my poison'd love,
My study's ornament, thou shell of death,
Once the bright face of my betrothed lady."
The Revenger's Tragedy, Act 1, Scene 1.
