We’re delighted to be returning to Wilton’s following the success of Cabaret last year.
Join us for a special performance of The Threepenny Opera and help raise vital funds for LAMDA’s work. Meet alumni, students and the cast and crew whilst enjoying drinks and mouth-watering delights. There will also be a chance to win prizes in LAMDA’s special raffle.
Tickets are £75, with over 50% going straight to the Academy as a donation. Come along to experience the original ‘Mack the Knife’ in the country’s oldest surviving music hall, whilst contributing to the future of the performing arts.

Behind the Scenes: Student Focus
LAMDA, Tuesday 6 March, 7:00 – 9:00pm
Following our successful Designer’s and Director’s Focus events last year, we are delighted to announce the next event in our Behind the Scenes series. Guests will gain an exclusive insight into the experience of a LAMDA acting student, touring the Academy whilst training is in progress and meeting the students. There will also be the opportunity to watch classes, normally closed to the public.
The event is available, free of charge, to LAMDA Angels and supporters of the Academy’s Scholarships & Bursaries scheme on a first-come, first-served basis. As places are limited, tickets are restricted to two per person.
To book, please contact Liz Scase on 020 8834 0515 or at elizabeth.scase@lamda.org.uk.
2011 Deutsche Bank Award winners announced
The Academy is delighted to announce that final year Stage Management & Technical Theatre Course student, Patrick Gleeson, has won the 2011 Deutsche Bank Award in Dramatic Arts. The scheme recognises entrepreneurship and innovation, offering practical and financial support to students who wish to start a business or project in the crucial year after graduation.
Patrick will be awarded £10,000 and a dedicated business mentor, which will enable him to develop and produce The Electric Animal Circus - an innovative show based around custom-built animatronic mechanical animals that perform extraordinary circus acts in a futuristic, post apocalyptic variety show.
