- The minimum age for courses is 18 (apart from 2 summer courses mentioned below). Although there is no upper age limit, students must be of good general health and capable of undertaking the strenuous aspects of the courses.
- The minimum age for the Two Week Introduction to Drama School and Audition Technique summer courses is 16. Note that housing on summer courses cannot be provided to students under the age of 18.
- All incomplete applications will be returned.
- Refer to course information pages for application deadlines.
- Auditions/interviews are held in London from November to June.
- Auditions/interviews are held in Manchester, York, Bristol, Edinburgh, Dublin, Reykjavik and Paris – see dates page for precise dates.
- Auditions/interviews in North America are held in February and early March only.
- Notification of audition/interview is usually sent giving two weeks’ notice. However, it may be sent at short notice on receipt of an application, therefore applicants should be prepared to audition/interview at the time the application is made.
- There is no need to send transcripts, headshots or any other photos with your application.
- References are only required for summer courses.
- Payment of the non-returnable audition/interview fee can be made in pounds sterling or US dollars. Cheques are payable to LAMDA Ltd and US dollar cheques are only acceptable from sterling bank accounts.
- Auditions/interviews by video are not accepted.
- Applicants may be recalled for another longer audition in March, April, May or June.
