Stage Management & Technical Theatre Open Day

On Saturday 11th February 2012, LAMDA will host its annual Stage Management & Technical Theatre Open Day at the Greenwich Theatre . The event, which runs from 10am to 1pm, is a chance for attendees to go behind the scenes of the theatre and to learn more about backstage careers in the entertainment industry. Whether you have always wanted to work in the West End or just want find out more about technical theatre training at LAMDA, our Open Day will help you make informed decisions about your future.

You will have an opportunity to learn more about lighting, sound, stage management and scenic construction from tutors who have years of experience in the performing arts industries. You will talk to current LAMDA students and recent graduates – many of whom work in the top theatres, television and event companies. You will also have a chance to hear more about LAMDA's admissions process and to seek practical advice on how to support yourself through drama school.

The minimum age for entrance to LAMDA's full-time courses is 18, but we welcome anyone to join us for our Open Day. Places are, however, limited so please book early by contacting Rob Young, Course Director, via email at rob.young@lamda.org.uk.
