Contact the Department of Education in your home country for details of any government scholarshipsor funding for overseas study.

Also try the British Council office in your home country, contactable via the British Embassy. If there is no British Council office in your country see this British Council website.

Another good resource is the UKCISA Funding Advice for International Students - see website www.ukcisa.org.uk*. Another useful site is www.prospects.ac.uk*.

Contact your bank for any possible loans for overseas study.

Prospective students should be aware that living costs in London are expensive and so should ensure they have sufficient finances in place before enrolling on a course at LAMDA.

For students from the USA, the following websites may prove useful:

  • www.nafsa.org* - Information and advice for students from the USA's largest study abroad assoc.
  • www.fulbright.co.uk* - Useful funding site for Fulbright Commission.
  • LAMDA's Three Year Acting course, Two Year Acting course, One Year Classical Acting course and Two Year Stage Managment & Technical Theatre courses are eligible for the Guaranteed Loan Program operated by the US Department of Health, Education & Welfare - vendor / institution code #021086. All other LAMDA courses are not eligible for Federal loans.
