Please note that the Association of LAMDA Teachers is a membership association only. Teachers who are members of the Association are in no way endorsed by or affiliated to LAMDA Examinations.
An Associate membership level is available for teachers who hold other relevant teaching qualifications. These qualifications include Bachelor and post-graduate teaching degrees, such as PGCEs, as well as Teaching Certificates and Teaching Diplomas in Speech and Drama (and Music for the preparation of candidates in Musical Theatre for the Actor/Singer) from other Awarding Bodies, accredited at Level 5 or above.
Associate membership is also available for overseas teachers who have passed the LAMDA Teachers’ Certificate in Communication (LTCC) or a LAMDA Teachers’ Certificate in Performance (LTCP) or hold a local teaching qualification equivalent to UK Level 5 or above.
If applying for membership with an external qualification please provide a photocopy of the relevant certificate(s) as evidence.
