How to enter for LAMDA examinations
UK Public Centres
Learners may be entered for examinations at any LAMDA Public Centre. Examination sessions are held at these centres each term throughout the UK to accommodate those teachers with only a few learners for whom a visiting examiner would not be appropriate. A list of Public Centre dates is published each summer for the following academic year. The local representatives, listed on the Public Centre date list, are able to provide further information regarding LAMDA Examinations at their public centre.

Learners taking the LAMDA Diploma in Communication, Speech and Drama Education (LSDE) will need to complete the LSDE application form and return it to LAMDA Examinations with the appropriate regsitration fee. Once learners have received permission to commence studies, they will need to complete a submission form for each Unit once they are ready to enter for it.
When learners reach Unit 3, they will also need to present their Supervising Teacher with a Supervising Teacher Report Form. After undertaking the required Supervised Teaching Practice, learners must complete an External Observation Request Form and return it to LAMDA Examinations, to arrange an in-classroom assessment with an external examiner.

Closing dates and fee payment
Completed entry forms together with the full fee payment must be received by LAMDA Examinations six weeks in advance of the first date of the centre. Closing dates may be earlier for selected Public Centres, so please check the public centre date card for details. Any late entries will be returned.
All cheques should be made payable to LAMDA Ltd. Please write your name and address on the back of cheques.
Administration
Regrettably, we are unable to guarantee date or time requests at public centres. Learners should be prepared to attend on any date in the session, if required. If there is only one possible date/time suitable for the learners, please mark this clearly on the entry form and we will do our best to accommodate the request. Some dates in a session may be marked as provisional and will only be used if there are sufficient learners.
If entry forms are submitted for more than one centre, please indicate clearly that this is the case. Entry forms for family members or friends, who need to be examined within a similar timeframe, should be stapled together.
Receipt of entry forms and fees will only be acknowledged if a stamped, self-addressed envelope is enclosed.
The examination details will be sent by LAMDA fourteen days prior to the scheduled examination session. Appointments cannot be changed once a centre has been scheduled. Examiners will not be able to accept any changes without written authorisation from LAMDA.
