Group Examinations

  • Group Introductory Examinations

Group Introductory Examinations are designed to stimulate the imagination and develop basic communication in an interactive situation. Candidates who prepare themselves appropriately will develop: communication skills (the ability to share a poem with others), memory skills (the ability to learn words and recall them aloud) and interactive skills (the ability to work in an ensemble).

  • Group Recital

Group Recital Examinations are designed to develop the skills necessary for devising and presenting a programme of material for performance, in a recital format. Candidates who prepare themselves appropriately will develop: interpretative, technical and interactive skills.

  • Choral Speaking Examinations

Group Acting Examinations are designed to develop the skills necessary to communicate a dramatic text, in an ensemble to an audience. Candidates who prepare themselves appropriately will develop: interpretative, technical and interactive skills.

  • Group Acting Examinations

Group Acting Examinations are designed to develop the skills necessary to communicate a dramatic text, in an ensemble to an audience. Candidates who prepare themselves appropriately will develop: interpretative, technical and interactive skills.

  • Group Devised Drama Examinations

Group Devised Examinations are designed to develop the skills necessary to devise an original piece of theatre and present it to an audience. Candidates who prepare themselves appropriately will develop: interpretative, technical and interactive skill

  • Group Musical Theatre Examinations

Group Musical Theatre Examinations are designed to the skills necessary to communicate the dramatic content of musical text in an ensemble. The emphasis is on performance and presentation rather than on the study of musical theatre as a whole.
