OES Help
If you are new to OES, you may find it useful to download the OES User Guide. This will help you through the registration and inputting phases of the process, as well as point out some common errors you may encounter when using the system for the first time.

Possible Errors
Problem: No Group Name
Solution: make sure you are in the input page, (click ‘Amend’ if you’re in the
verification page). Select the row above the first candidate in the group, use
‘Insert’ button to add an extra line. Enter a group name in the ‘First Name’
column, select the subject eg Group Devised Performance, select grade eg 4.
Note: Leave ‘Subject’ and ‘Grade’ columns blank for the group members
Problem: Not recognising Duologue/Combined candidates
Solution: Make sure both candidates are listed together, ensure only the first
candidate has ‘subject’ and ‘grade’ entered, and leave these columns blank
for the partner.
Problem: Not recognising the examination
Solution: Check that you are not entering a candidate for an invalid exam,
such as Spoken English Grade 8 or Acting Combined grade 7. These
examinations do not exist.
