Regional Workshops and Summer Courses

The 2008 LAMDA Examinations Regional Workshops will be exploring some of LAMDA’s key examinations, in both the Communication and Performance fields. The workshops will cater for newcomers to the examinations, but will also be suitable for long-standing teachers who wish to refresh their teaching practices. There will be two one-day workshops, the first focusing on the key Communication examinations and the second focusing on key Performance examinations.

At York, the second day of the workshop will be a special one-day session, focussing on the Certificate in Speech and Drama: Performance Studies (PCertLAM). There is a heightened interest in the PCertLAM since it was included in the UCAS tariff in 2007 and as of September 2008, the syllabus for PCertLAM will be changing. This session will be designed to introduce the new PCertLAM syllabus.
