Company Background

LAMDA Business Performance is a wholly owned commercial subsidiary of the London Academy of Dramatic Art.

LAMDA is an acknowledged leader and innovator in the field of drama training, with a world-wide reputation for its progressive approach, and a roster of famous graduates which includes Maureen Lipman, Martin Shaw, Diana Dors, Harriet Walter, Jemma Redgrave and Jim Broadbent. The skills in individual and group confidence and communication, which are crucial to the successful training of performers and directors, are the skills that form the bedrock of LBP's approach to the training of business executives, managers and staff.

Founded in 1994, LBP offers clients access to some of the best trainers in the business, whose expertise in the sector has been honed through extensive work with top corporates, public sector organisations and individual company directors.

LBP's team consists of a core of 6, complemented by a team of 20 specialists in different disciplines ranging from management consulting, to teaching and educational advising, project managing, producing, people resourcing, IT co-ordination and entrepreneurial skills. The understanding of the importance of teamwork that underpins so much of the company's teaching, is the understanding that LBP extends into its own internal operation.

It's this that makes LBP such a powerful and influential agency, and ensures that - like the businesses that use its services - the company has a confident future, based on its ability to deliver what clients want, when they want it.
