Schools Award Officer

CONTRACT: Full-time, permanent
HOURS OF WORK: 35 hours per week
ANNUAL SALARY: £23,000 - £25,000 plus benefits

We are currently seeking an ambitious Schools Award Officer to join our very busy examinations department in supporting the monitoring, delivery and administration of the qualifications within the LAMDA Schools Award portfolio and LAMDA’s graded examinations.

The successful candidate will have proven experience gained within a qualifications/exams administration role. S/he will have strong communication, organisational and customer service skills.

This diverse role would suit a hard-working individual who is flexible, adaptable and a self-starter.

Business Development Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to identify growth opportunities and to play a pivotal role in increasing the Academy’s examinations sales revenue and growth plans.

The successful applicant will have excellent business planning and project management skills. S/he will possess exemplary communication skills and a strong understanding of Speech and Drama teaching and examinations market. Furthermore, the individual will have proven CRM/Key Account Management and sales generation experience.

The successful candidate will have administrative experience in the education sector and will have highly developed interpersonal, organisation and IT skills. Lead External Verifier

CONTRACT: Freelance, one-year
HOURS OF WORK: As requested
SALARY: £300 per day

We are looking for a Lead External Verifier to initially head up a team of two external verifiers in monitoring and providing support for a new qualification – the LAMDA Level 2 Award in Speaking and Listening Skills - to be delivered from October 2016.The ideal candidate will have experience of externally verifying within the education sector and must demonstrate strong industry knowledge and experience. Desirably, you will possess an external verification qualification and/ or have had considerable experience as an external verifier in education. You must be willing to travel and have a full UK driving licence.

Examiner for the LAMDA Level 2 Award in Speaking and Listening Skills

CONTRACT: Self-employed, consultancy agreement basis
ANNUAL SALARY: £169 for 6.5 hours daily rate / £90 for 0.5 day rate with £30 per additional hour

LAMDA is seeking examiners based in the UK to examine a brand new qualification in speaking and listening skills. This qualification has been designed to support our current portfolio of qualifications, assessing the technical skills, knowledge and understanding required for effective oral communication. The qualification will be available for teaching from 1 October 2016, with first assessment in January 2017.

SALARY: £169 daily rate (up to 6.5 hours) / £91 half day rate (up to 3.5 hours) / £30 per additional hour over 6.5 hours

LAMDA is seeking examiners based in the UK to examine our suite of Communication, Performance and Musical Theatre examinations. Please note this role does not currently include examining for the LAMDA Level 2 Award in Speaking and Listening Skills.
