Qualifications Manager

CONTRACT: Open-Ended, Full-Time

HOURS OF WORK: 35 hours per week

ANNUAL SALARY: £35,000 to £38,000 plus excellent benefits

We are presently seeking a robust Qualifications Manager to join the examinations team. 
You will be an integral member of examinations management team and will be responsible for ensuring that LAMDA’s qualifications and examinations are of high quality, fit for purpose, creative and that they are assessed appropriately against agreed assessment criteria. 

With previous experience in teaching and assessment, you will possess strong project management and policy development experience. You will have a strong knowledge of speech and drama qualifications, graded examinations as well as the regulatory framework. Furthermore, you will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter and have proven ability to manage priorities and work under pressure.

Box Office & Front-of-House Manager

CONTRACT: Open-Ended, Full-Time

HOURS OF WORK: 40 hours per week. Evening and weekend working will be required for this role.

ANNUAL SALARY: £30,000 plus excellent benefits

We are seeking a proactive Box Office & Front-of-House Manager to be responsible for our growing ticketing, front-of-house and events operations. S/he will be the first point of contact for our audiences, offering friendly and professional customer service whilst ensuring that Box Office operations, performances and events run safely and smoothly.

This is an exciting time to be joining LAMDA, as we are just about to take possession of our new building, including two new theatres. The successful candidate will play a key role in setting up the new front-of-house facilities and s/he will form strong working relationships with other departments to ensure that financial targets from ticket sales, bar income and room hires are achieved or exceeded.

This role would suit a hard-working individual with a good knowledge of Box Office systems (ideally Spektrix) and front-of-house procedures, including bar management, licensing and safety requirements. S/he will have excellent customer care skills and management-level experience of a similar role in an arts organisation, events venue or visitor attraction.

Part-time Receptionist & Assistant Administrator

CONTRACT: Permanent, part-time
HOURS OF WORK: 25 hours per week (Monday to Friday 1.15-6.15)
ANNUAL SALARY: £13,580 pro-rata (£19,400 (FTE) plus excellent benefits)

LAMDA is seeking an exceptional individual to work in its busy front-of-house reception. The post-holder will be responsible for delivering an efficient and professional reception service for the Academy in addition to providing general administrative support. With exemplary communication skills, you will be confident, highly organised and demonstrate a polite and friendly disposition. Applicants should have empathy with the ethos of LAMDA and a desire to support our students.
