Acting Outreach and Widening Participation Officer

CONTRACT: One year fixed-term, part-time maternity cover post starting ASAP

HOURS OF WORK: 4 days/28 hours per week

ANNUAL SALARY: £23,887 pro-rata [£29,859 FTE] plus benefits

We are seeking an Outreach and Widening Participation Officer who will run and continue to develop our coordinated access and WP programme, in order to widen LAMDA’s student recruitment base, further embed the Academy in our local community, and disseminate awareness of LAMDA’s work, particularly amongst non-traditional and hard-to-reach groups. 

This exciting opportunity would suit a confident, enthusiastic and resilient individual who has a commitment to vocational training in the arts. You’ll have worked in a similar role and will be comfortable engaging with young people and students from diverse backgrounds. Your outstanding communication skills will enable you to work seamlessly with colleagues and senior management throughout the organisation. Your brief will be challenging, but you’ll thrive on seeing projects through to completion with minimal supervision. Team working, managing budgets, knowledge of digital media and social networking are features that you’ll be expected to demonstrate, together with a determined and empathetic attitude.

Timetabling Officer

CONTRACT: Permanent, full-time

HOURS OF WORK: 35 hours per week. Evening and weekend work will also be required

ANNUAL SALARY: £23,000-£28,000 plus benefits

We are seeking a Timetabling Officer to join our very busy drama school department.

You will be responsible for producing timetables for LAMDA’s courses which optimise the usage of space and facilities, to the benefit of the students and their teaching staff. To accomplish this, you will have proven experience of working within HE in a similar capacity and possess sound administrative experience. You will have demonstrable working knowledge of a timetabling system and have an ability to create, manipulate and analyse large datasets.

Furthermore, you will be hard working, motivated and have excellent communication, organisational and negotiation skills.
